Jordans 2017 will release the Air Jordan 1 “Equality” during January 2018. This expands on the brands campaign to encourage people to take the fairness and respect they see in sport and translate them off the field. The Air Jordan 1 Retro High Equality comes done in a split black and white upper with the upper portion of the shoe being done in black nubuck and the lower half being done in white leather. Finishing details include gold lace dubraes with EQUALITY written on them as well as “EQUALITY.” in black written on the heels of the midsole. Another interesting feature is the fact that Carmelo Anthony’s Jordan PE logo has been placed on the tongue instead of the Jumpman or Nike Air.
New Jordans 2016, This Air Jordan 1 will feature a Black, White and Metallic Gold color combination. New Jordans 2018, The Air Jordan 1 Shadow will be making a retro return mid-April 2018. It was back in December of 2016 that buzz around the “Shadow” Air Jordan 1s were supposed to release in 2017, but that was later debunked by Jordan Brand. For 2018, we will get an official release of the overlooked and underrated original Air Jordan 1. We last got to enjoy the release back in 2013 followed by an Air Jordan 1 Low iteration in 2015. So you can say we’re ready for a “proper” retro release.
